Greys Beach (WA 1082) forms the southern side of the point and curves to the north, then west for 2.5 km between Separation Point and Point Moore. Both points are low sandy forelands formed in lee of attached intertidal calcarenite reefs, with additional reefs extending up to 1 km westward of Point Moore. Greys Beach faces squarely into the dominant waves and winds. The waves are reduced by the reef and average about 1 m and usually maintaining a 50 m wide low tide terrace, which may be cut by rips following periods of higher waves. The beach is backed by a 10 m high scarped foredune, a 100 m wide dune reserve then the drive, with car parks located to either end. A caravan park is located to the lee of Separation Point.
Beach Length: 2.5km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
