Beach K 11 is located on the south side of the jetty at the base of 10 m high red bluffs, with stairs leading down to the beach. Sandstone rocks are exposed at the base of the bluffs and scattered along the top of the beach. It consists of a moderately steep, 60 m wide, 300 m long beach fronted by 100 m wide sand flats, then deeper water off the point. A road runs along the bluffs behind the beach to Entrance Point.
