Moorpanyal Park Beach is surrounded by a bluff-top park of the same name. It lies at the junction of The Esplanade and Seabeach Parade. The bluff-top park backs the entire 200 m long beach, with ample parking and other facilities in the park, and shops across the road. The beach faces south-east and is backed by the 10 m high bluffs and a seawall along the southern end. Two drains cross the beach and there is a gravel road that leads down to the beach for boat launching. The high tide beach is less than 10 m wide, with a 50 m wide, intertidal sand flat running parallel. Rocks lie on the flats below the bluff headlands at either end.

Swimming

Better at high tide when the sand flats are covered.

Surfing

None.

Fishing

Most fishers use the beach for boat launching, with the beach itself best off the rocks at high tide.

General

Behind this quiet, little beach is a nice park for a picnic.
